2021 Legislative Session
The 2021 legislative session was a productive one for the Transit Caucus, with four of our five priority bills passing the General Assembly.
Governor Hogan, however, vetoed the Transit Safety and Investment Act (HB 114 and SB 199). He claimed that the bill would not provide enough “flexibility to shift funds.”
The Zero Emission Bus Transition Act and Southern Maryland Rapid Transit Project became law without the Governor’s signature.
